READ: Matthew 7:7-8
MEMORISE:
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. – (Matthew 7:7)
EXPOSITION:
Prayer is not just an occasional request but a journey into God’s heart. Jesus teaches us three key dimensions of PRAYER-ASKING, SEEKING, and KNOCKING each leading us closer to God’s possibilities. First, we are called to ASK based on God’s promises. This is not a timid plea but a confident request grounded in His Word. When we ask, we believe we receive because God’s promises are sure (Matthew 7:7). The Father delights in giving us what we ask according to His WILL.
Next, we must SEEK. To seek is to search and inquire into the deeper things of God. It is a relentless pursuit of His presence and wisdom, aligning our hearts with His. As we seek, we find clarity, direction, and answers beyond surface–level requests.
Finally, we must KNOCK. Knocking is bold faith in action-demanding doors to be opened and strongholds broken. It is persistence, pushing through resistance until God’s supernatural answers come. Ask in faith, seek with passion, and knock with holy persistence. God is ready to answer!
