Pastor Lawal Dolapo Recalls Abp.Wale Oke Prophecy Over His Ministry

Pastor Lawal Dolapo has recounted a spiritual encounter with Archbishop Francis Wale Oke that he says became a major turning point in his ministry.

Dolapo shared the testimony while recalling events that followed a 40-day period of fasting and prayer. He said he believed God had revealed that a spiritual father would pronounce a blessing over his life.

Soon after, a friend told him that Archbishop Wale Oke would attend a convention in Chicago. Dolapo said he felt led to attend the event but believed he should not try to force a meeting with the archbishop.

He said his wife later suggested that they give their available money as an offering.

After the service, Dolapo remained at the church for several hours. He said he was convinced that he needed to wait for the opportunity rather than pursue the archbishop himself. Later that night, he was taken to meet Wale Oke.

According to Dolapo, the archbishop asked him if he had previously been a Muslim. After Dolapo confirmed that he had, Oke reportedly told him to kneel.

“You are the one God told me to bless,” Dolapo recalled the archbishop saying. He said Oke then laid hands on him and delivered a prophecy concerning his ministry.

Dolapo recalled the archbishop declaring that his voice would spread across Nigeria within three months.

“In three months, every corner in Nigeria, your voice will be there,” he said, quoting the archbishop.

Dolapo said he later saw developments that, in his view, reflected the prophecy within the stated period.

He described the encounter as a testimony of prayer, obedience and divine direction. For Dolapo, the experience remains an important part of his ministry journey and his account of how the meeting with Wale Oke came about.
