Apostle Selman Urges Believers to Live by God’s Word Daily
Apostle Joshua Selman, the founder of Eternity Network International (ENI), has urged Christians to rely on God’s Word when navigating difficult situations.
Selman encouraged believers to start each day by declaring Scripture and choosing their response to life instead of allowing circumstances to dictate their emotions.
He cited the biblical declaration, “This is the day that the Lord has made. I rejoice and I am glad in it,” as an example of how Christians can set their hearts in faith at the beginning of the day.
According to him, believers should also respond to bad news, hurtful words and challenging circumstances with faith rather than fear, bitterness or frustration.
He encouraged Christians to consciously choose peace and reject offense, saying, “I choose to be peaceful. I reject offense. I am a child of God.”

Selman further advised believers to speak positively about their day, work and relationships. He demonstrated this by declaring, “As I step out today, favour follows me.”
He noted that ordinary daily activities can also provide opportunities for prayer, thanksgiving and the declaration of God’s Word.
For Selman, living by Scripture goes beyond reading the Bible. It involves allowing God’s Word to influence a believer’s thoughts, words and reactions to everyday circumstances.
He summed up the practice by saying, “This is the believer living by the Word of God.”
