Nigerian gospel musician Moses Bliss has shared a Christian testimony of divine healing involving his wife, Marie Bliss, after she reportedly suffered a sudden and severe illness that doctors in the United Kingdom could not diagnose.
The singer disclosed this during his ministration at the Mountain Experience program in Abuja, explaining that the incident occurred while they were in the Midlands, where his wife began experiencing intense pain on one side of her body, severe back pain, and difficulty lying in any position. Her condition reportedly worsened to the point where she struggled to breathe, leading to her admission to a hospital for urgent medical care.
According to Moses Bliss, multiple medical tests were conducted, but doctors were unable to determine the cause of the illness. He described the situation as distressing, noting that the uncertainty surrounding the diagnosis added to the emotional strain. Despite the ongoing medical evaluation, he had to briefly travel to Nigeria for a scheduled program , leaving his wife hospitalized. During his return journey to London, he recounted experiencing what he described as a spiritual prompting, urging him to take decisive action through prayer.
Upon returning to the hospital, the singer said he began praying with his wife and speaking words of faith over her condition, emphasizing the role of scripture and spiritual encouragement. He narrated that shortly after this moment of prayer, a sudden improvement occurred. While he was on his way home, his wife reportedly called to inform him that she had been discharged from the hospital, indicating a recovery that he attributed to divine intervention.

Recounting the experience, he said, “My wife became ill… she could not breathe very well… we had to take her to the hospital, and doctors said they don’t know the cause.” He further added that after praying with her, “While on my way home, she called me to say that she had been discharged.” The testimony has since drawn attention among Christian audiences, many of whom interpret the account as an example of faith during medical uncertainty and the belief in God’s healing power.
The couple, who got married in March 2024, have kept much of their personal life private, making this testimony a notable public disclosure. The account contributes to ongoing conversations within Christian communities about the relationship between faith and medicine, particularly in situations where medical explanations are unclear. While the recovery has been described by the singer as miraculous, independent medical verification of the cause or resolution of the illness has not been publicly confirmed.
