Pastor Okonkwo Unveils Christian Matchmaking Platform, VIP Plan
Relationship coach and pastor Kingsley Okonkwo has launched a Christian matchmaking platform, Mentor To Marry, for singles who are seeking intentional relationships and marriage.
Okonkwo, the Lead Pastor of David’s Christian Centre, announced the platform in posts shared on X on Wednesday.
The platform targets Christians who want to meet potential partners while receiving guidance and preparation for marriage. Mentor To Marry describes itself as a faith-based community that combines relationship mentoring with matchmaking.
Introducing the service, Okonkwo expressed concern about what he described as the growing commercialisation of relationships. He said the trend had made it difficult for some young men to find genuine relationships. “I feel for the men of this generation….relationships have been so commercialized nowadays that its almost impossible for a young man to find true love,” he wrote.
Okonkwo also clarified that he was not suggesting that women generally approach relationships for financial reasons.
“There are a lot of good women looking to connect with serious godly men on our platform,” he said.

According to information on the platform’s website, mentoring comes before matchmaking. New members undergo an eight-week mentoring programme that includes classes, assessments and guided reflection. The process is designed to help participants gain clarity about relationships and marriage before they begin matching.
Mentor To Marry offers three paid membership options: Regular, Premium and VIP.
The Regular membership costs ₦70,000 annually. It provides access to the mentoring programme, assessments, selected profiles, an accountability system, weekly chats and a country-based matching pool.
The Premium plan costs ₦350,000 per year. Members receive additional access to profiles, monthly recommendations, relationship coaches, global profiles, private groups and more weekly chats.
The VIP package costs ₦700,000 annually. It includes a dedicated matchmaker and coach, priority access to the platform’s founders, private introductions outside the platform and additional profile protection features.
However, the platform makes clear that membership does not guarantee a match, mutual attraction or marriage. Mentor To Marry is operated by Love, Dating and Marriage Ministries, a non-profit organisation registered in Nigeria.

The service is open to Christians aged 25 and above. Participants must be unmarried, divorced or widowed to access its matchmaking services. Members must also provide accurate information about their identity and marital status.
The platform’s matching process centres on Christian values, accountability, relationship education and preparation for marriage rather than casual dating. Its rules prohibit sexual harassment, abuse, fraud, catfishing, exploitation, explicit content and attempts to obtain money from other members.
Kingsley Okonkwo and his wife, Mildred Okonkwo, are listed among the platform’s founders.
The platform says their experience in pastoral ministry and marriage mentoring informs its approach to helping singles prepare for relationships.
Beyond matchmaking, Mentor To Marry’s philosophy focuses on personal preparation. Its stated goal is to help singles become the kind of partners capable of building the marriages they desire.
The platform also provides a free online community for singles who are interested in marriage but are not yet ready to join a paid membership.
