SCOAN Marks 5 Years of Prophet TB Joshua Legacy
According to Independent News, The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has unveiled plans for a major programme marking the fifth anniversary of the passing of its founder, Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua. The event is themed “Rejoicing with the Saints.”
The commemoration is scheduled for June 5, 2026, and is expected to attract worshippers, church leaders, gospel ministers, dignitaries and followers from different parts of the world. Organisers say it is intended as a global remembrance of a ministry that reached far beyond Nigeria.
Activities will begin earlier with a two-day revival set for June 2 and 3 at SCOAN’s Faith Resort Ground in Agodo, Lagos. The revival is expected to set the tone for the main anniversary service.
Five years after his death, Prophet TB Joshua remains a widely discussed figure in global Christianity. His ministry, marked by teaching, humanitarian outreach and extensive media broadcasting, drew millions of followers across continents and continues to influence Christian conversations worldwide.
According to SCOAN’s programme outline, proceedings on the anniversary day will begin at 5 p.m. with a special “Walk Way Experience,” where international visitors will share personal reflections on their encounters with the church and their reasons for joining the remembrance.

The main service will open with a hymn and prayer, followed by formal introductions. Worship will also feature musical ministration by American gospel artist Byron Cage, who is expected to lead part of the evening’s worship segment.
Organisers have also planned a documentary presentation highlighting key moments from Prophet TB Joshua’s life and ministry. The film is designed to revisit his global impact and contributions to Christian evangelism, philanthropy and media outreach.
A “Conversation Corner” will provide space for guests and long-time associates to share testimonies and personal memories. Participants are expected from several countries, including Malawi, Argentina, Nigeria, South Africa and Spain, with additional virtual contributions from Colombia, the United Kingdom and the Dominican Republic.
The international lineup reflects the broad reach of TB Joshua’s ministry, which reportedly attracted visitors from more than 100 countries during his lifetime and gained global visibility through Emmanuel TV.
Gospel performances are also expected from international ministers, including Tanzanian singer Christina Shusho and American gospel artist Brian Cage, adding to the global character of the programme.

A key moment of the celebration will be an address by Pastor Evelyn Joshua, who assumed leadership of SCOAN after her husband’s passing in June 2021. She has since continued to oversee the church’s spiritual direction and humanitarian initiatives.
Since his death, TB Joshua’s influence has remained visible through testimonies, outreach programmes and ongoing charitable efforts associated with the church. His teachings on faith, compassion and service continue to be referenced by followers across different countries.
The anniversary is expected to serve as both a remembrance and a reflection on his legacy. Organisers say it will highlight the lasting impact of his ministry on Christianity, philanthropy and global outreach.
The programme will conclude with a closing hymn and prayer, wrapping up what SCOAN describes as a service of worship, thanksgiving and remembrance.
For many participants, both in Lagos and joining virtually, the event will mark another moment to reflect on the continued global attention surrounding the life and ministry of Prophet TB Joshua.
