Nigeria’s Religious Influence Grows Abroad-Pastor Evelyn Joshua
The Leader of The Synagogue, Church of All Nations, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has said Nigerian Christian ministries are expanding the country’s religious influence globally by taking the gospel beyond its borders.
Evelyn Joshua made the remarks in a statement issued by the church on Thursday, following her arrival in São Paulo, Brazil, from Lagos on Monday ahead of a two-day crusade scheduled for September 18 and 19, 2026.
She said the outreach reflected the international vision of her late husband, Prophet T.B. Joshua, whose ministry attracted people from different countries and used evangelism and media to spread the Christian message worldwide.
According to her, Nigerian churches have played a role in extending the gospel across Africa, Europe, Asia and the Americas, strengthening the country’s religious presence outside Nigeria.
She described the São Paulo gathering as part of the church’s continuing international outreach and an opportunity to connect with Christians and communities across South America.

“The wind of glory is blowing already. It is going to be an encounter, a new wave of revival, healing and deliverance,” she said.
Evelyn Joshua also encouraged participants to remain steadfast in their faith and stay open to what she described as God’s intervention in their lives.
“He wants to prove Himself again in your life. Keep your faith intact and make yourself available to Him and He will transform your life,” she said.
The church said worshippers and visitors from several parts of Brazil, Latin America and Africa were expected to attend the crusade.
It listed cities including São Paulo, Osasco, Guarulhos, Campinas, São Bernardo do Campo, Santo André, Sorocaba, Ribeirão Preto, São José dos Campos and São José do Rio Preto among the areas from which attendees were preparing to travel.

The statement added that interest had also come from Brazilian states including Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Espírito Santo and Bahia. Participants from Argentina, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia and Honduras were also expected, alongside visitors from parts of Africa.
Pastor Jonas of Osasco described the gathering as a significant event for Brazil, saying residents were looking forward to the programme and appreciated the ministry associated with T.B. Joshua and Evelyn Joshua.
Pastor Joshua Eduardo of São Paulo also expressed expectations for the crusade, while Pastor Anderson from Rio de Janeiro said he looked forward to witnessing what he described as manifestations of God’s glory.
The church said the theme of the crusade, “Winds of Glory,” draws from biblical imagery of wind as an expression of the movement and presence of the Spirit of God.
According to the statement, the theme focuses on spiritual renewal, faith, restoration, healing and transformation.
