Trump Deletes Viral Jesus Style Image

Facing mounting criticism, Donald Trump has removed a controversial post from his Truth Social account. The post featured an AI generated image that many viewers found offensive and misleading.

The image showed Trump in a white robe, placing a glowing hand on a sick man’s head. As a result, critics quickly compared it to wellknown depictions of Jesus Christ healing the sick. The scene also included patriotic symbols such as the Statue of Liberty, a large American flag, fighter jets, and an eagle.

Soon after posting, backlash grew across the political and religious spectrum. Notably, some of Trump’s own supporters expressed concern. Christian leaders and commentators argued that the image crossed a line by blending faith with political messaging in a way they found disrespectful.

Sean Feucht urged that the post be deleted immediately. Similarly, Riley Gaines warned that faith should not be mocked. In addition, David Brody said supporters can back a leader while still rejecting content they see as inappropriate.

At the same time, when the post appeared made the situation even more controversial. It came shortly after Trump publicly criticized Pope Leo XIV. The pope had spoken out against the ongoing conflict involving Iran and called for peace. Trump responded by calling the pope weak on crime and ineffective on foreign policy.

Later, Trump addressed reporters at the White House. He said he believed the image showed him as a doctor helping a patient. He also claimed he removed it to avoid confusion among viewers. However, he did not issue an apology.

At the same time, Pope Leo XIV stood firm in his position. He stated that he would keep sharing the message of the Gospel and continue to stand against violence. His remarks reinforced his ongoing criticism of the war and its human cost.

This incident is not the first time Trump’s social media activity has drawn scrutiny.  Although aides described it as an error, critics argued it reflected a pattern. Overall, the episode highlights growing tension between political messaging and religious sensitivity. It also shows how quickly online content can trigger strong reactions across different audiences.
