Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Unveils ‘Interlink’ as Internet Alternative

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has unveiled Interlink, a LoveWorld technology initiative he described as an alternative to the conventional internet.

Oyakhilome unveiled the platform at the 2026 LoveWorld New Economy event as part of his vision for technological and economic transformation

Oyakhilome said Interlink would provide internet functions while adding new capabilities.

“We have the alternative today to the internet. It’s called Interlink. It does everything the internet can do and a lot more,” Oyakhilome said. The unveiling was part of several initiatives presented under LoveWorld’s New Economy vision.

Other projects showcased at the event included developments in artificial intelligence, digital finance, trade and electric vehicles, highlighting the ministry’s growing interest in technology and innovation.

Oyakhilome’s announcement has attracted attention because of his description of Interlink as an alternative to the internet, which remains the dominant infrastructure for digital communication, information sharing and online services globally.

However, details about Interlink’s technology remain limited following the unveiling. Researchers have not yet clearly established its technical architecture, coverage, public accessibility, or independent testing.

The limited information also leaves questions about how the platform will operate and whether it can provide the wide range of services currently available through the internet.

For now, the unveiling represents LoveWorld’s latest move into the technology space, with further information expected to shed more light on Interlink and its capabilities.
