TOPIC: DIVINITY IN HUMANITY
READ: John 4:1-17 (NKJV)

Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. – (Hebrews 13:2).
EXPOSITION:
Moses’ divine encounter was an unusual one. God may reveal Himself in various forms—fire, clouds, dove, and human form (Ezekiel 1:26-27). The Samaritan woman’s encounter with Jesus is another example, where she met the Saviour face-to-face at the least expected place (John 4:9). Oftentimes, expected miracles and encounters don’t come in the way, place or vessel expected, so that the excellence of the power may be of God rather than of us (2 Corinthians 4:7). The Samaritan woman, who had been going from pillar to pole with a record of five husbands, couldn’t discern God’s gift until Jesus touched the most crucial part of her life (John 4:10,16-17).

Another way to meet divinity in humanity is by entertaining strangers. Abraham started with a little water, washing of feet, bread, and then good calf. Rebecca watered a stranger and 10 camels, and the Shunammite woman made a small upper room for the prophet. They all did their best and were rewarded accordingly.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Lord, forgive me for mishandling my divine encounters with You; grant me second chance, I pray.
2. Lord, help me not to miss my own encounter of divinity in humanity, in Jesus’ name.
3. Father, help our ministers to be sensitive when You visit them in physical form.
4. Pray for peace in everywhere there’s war all over the world, and pray for a better NIGERIA
