PFN Leaders Protest Against Rising Insecurity in Nigeria
According to AsabaMetro, Members of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), including pastors Yemi David’s and Emmanuel Iren, have taken part in a public protest against the worsening security situation in the country.
The demonstration, which gained wide attention on social media, was staged to draw urgent focus to the rising cases of bandit attacks, kidnappings, and other violent incidents affecting several communities across Nigeria.
According to reports from Asaba Metro, the protest was organized as a peaceful call for government action. Participants expressed concern over the growing insecurity and its impact on families, businesses, and places of worship.
Videos shared online showed clerics and PFN members walking through public streets while voicing concerns and urging authorities to respond more decisively to the security crisis.

The involvement of prominent church leaders has since generated mixed reactions online. While some Nigerians praised the protest as a bold step by religious leaders speaking out on national issues, others questioned the appropriateness of clergy participating in street demonstrations.
Nigeria continues to face widespread security challenges, with repeated incidents of violence affecting several regions and heightening public concern.
As of the time of filing this report, official statements from the PFN regarding the full scope and coordination of the protest are yet to be made public.
