Christian Leaders Set for Five Day Ibadan Crusade.
Ibadan is set to host a five-day Christian outreach programme featuring prominent church leaders, gospel ministers and worshippers from different parts of the country.
The event, tagged the Jesus Ibadan City Mega Crusade, will begin on Wednesday at the Obafemi Awolowo Stadium in Ibadan, Oyo State.
President of For His Glory Evangelistic Ministries, Rob Welch, disclosed the plans during a media briefing on Tuesday at Men of Issachar Vision, Olororo, Ojoo, Ibadan.
The ministry is organising the crusade in partnership with churches across Ibadanland. According to Welch, the initiative seeks to encourage spiritual revival and help Christians deepen their relationship with God through prayer, worship and evangelism.
Several church leaders are expected to participate, including the President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Archbishop Wale Oke; PFN National Vice-President for the South-West, Bishop Taiwo Adelakun; Oyo State CAN Chairman, Rev. Elisha Ogundiya; and the state PFN Chairman, Rev. Samson Ajetomobi.

Welch explained that the outreach goes beyond hosting a religious event, noting that the ministry hopes to bring people closer to Christ and inspire lasting changes in their lives.
He also reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to spreading the Christian message outside traditional church settings and reaching people from different walks of life.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the crusade’s Central Working Committee, Pastor Obafemi Olofin, said the organising team was putting necessary arrangements in place ahead of the programme.
Olofin expressed hope that residents of Ibadan, other parts of Oyo State and visitors from across Nigeria would attend. He added that the committee was working to ensure effective coordination throughout the five days.
Chairman of the crusade’s Advisory Committee, Apostle Sunday Popoola, also attended the briefing.
The programme will feature gospel music performances from artistes such as Lilian Nneji, Esther Igbekele, Pelumi Deborah, Bois Olorun and The Dentons.
