Apostle Femi Lazarus Urges Believers to Use Wealth to Help Others
Apostle Femi Lazarus has urged Christians not to reject biblical teachings on prosperity and giving because some ministers have misused money or exploited church members.
Lazarus acknowledged that some religious leaders have abused their positions for personal gain. However, he said such misconduct should not invalidate the principles God intended for financial stewardship.
“That people have abused that office doesn’t mean what God has in it is false,” he said.
He argued that a healthy church community should provide support for members facing genuine needs.
According to him, the church should structure its resources to ensure no one in the community lacks basic necessities.
He said the church should be organised in a way that ensures no member is left without help when facing genuine need.

Lazarus explained that some branches of his ministry provide food for people because he does not believe someone who is genuinely struggling should attend church and return home hungry.
He said churches should use their resources to meet practical needs rather than mainly display wealth.
The apostle stressed that financial prosperity should come with a responsibility to support others.
Lazarus said financial success should place believers in a position where they can support and uplift others.
Lazarus’ message focused on the proper use of financial blessings, urging Christians to combine prosperity with generosity and service while rejecting exploitation and excessive display of wealth.
