Prophet Olu-Alo Applauds Tinubu, INEC Over Peaceful Osun Poll
The founder of Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo, has commended President Bola Tinubu and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the peaceful conduct of the August 15 governorship election in Osun State.
The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) cleric attributed the peaceful poll to what he described as the President’s non-interference in the election.
Olu-Alo also praised Osun voters for exercising their democratic rights and choosing candidates based on their preferences.
The cleric, who founded Adamimogo FM Nigeria, described the election as a positive development for the Tinubu administration. He said the peaceful conduct could offer hope for the 2027 general elections if similar standards are maintained.
Olu-Alo spoke during his church’s ongoing 31-day prayer and fasting programme, “Sure Mercy of David,” at Adamimogo Jesus City in Lagos.
The prophet expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the election, particularly the ability of voters to cast their ballots without undue influence or financial inducement. He urged Nigerians to continue praying for the country and its leaders. According to him, sustained prayers could support efforts to maintain peace across the nation.

Olu-Alo also congratulated Muslims on this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration. He called for moderation and mutual respect during the celebration and encouraged Nigerians to use the occasion to reflect on values that can promote national unity.
The Federal Government declared Tuesday, August 25, a public holiday to commemorate Eid-ul-Mawlid.
“As we celebrate with our Muslim brothers and sisters on this joyous occasion, we also appeal to Nigerians to be more prayerful and always pray for the country,” Olu-Alo said.
He described national unity as a responsibility shared by all citizens.
The cleric also encouraged Nigerians to draw lessons from the life and teachings associated with Eid-ul-Mawlid, particularly compassion, humility and service to others.

“These are qualities our nation needs now more than ever,” he said.
Speaking about the Sure Mercy of David 2026 programme, Olu-Alo urged Nigerians to participate in the remaining days of the prayer and fasting exercise.
The 31-day programme has entered its final week, with the church also dedicating prayers to the nation.
Olu-Alo expressed confidence that participants would experience positive results from the spiritual exercise. He described prayer as important in helping people navigate personal and national challenges.
The cleric therefore encouraged Nigerians to join the programme and continue praying for peace, stability and progress in the country.
