Obi Cubana Gifts Pastor Jerry Eze a Mansion

Businessman Obi Cubana has gifted popular pastor Jerry Eze a mansion as a birthday present, attracting reactions on social media.

A video shared on X by user #dammiedammie35 on Saturday showed Cubana presenting the property to Eze, the founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations.

Cubana described Eze as a close friend and someone who had consistently supported him through prayers and spiritual guidance. He said the pastor had remained available to intercede for him and others.

According to Cubana, Eze visited the property in January. He said he had privately hoped to complete one of the buildings and present it to the pastor on his next birthday.

Cubana explained that the construction was still ongoing but decided to formally present the property as Eze’s birthday gift. He said the gesture was meant to honour the pastor’s Christian ministry and service to humanity.

He also joined Eze’s family, friends and supporters in celebrating his birthday. Cubana prayed for God to continue blessing the pastor and wished him a happy birthday.

The businessman has previously supported Eze’s ministry and described him as a close friend. He also highlighted the pastor’s commitment to praying for others.

The mansion is expected to be completed at a later date. Cubana’s presentation has since generated significant reactions among social media users.

Some users questioned the decision to gift a mansion to another wealthy person instead of supporting people in need. One X user, #clintonLte, wrote, “Rich gifting rich and forget poor people wey need am most.”

Another user, #dezziano, similarly questioned the gesture, writing, “The rich helping the rich instead of the poor, Kai.”

However, #Cece16471868 defended Cubana’s decision. The user praised the businessman, congratulated Eze and argued that people should have the freedom to decide how they spend their money.

The reaction further highlighted the mixed opinions surrounding the birthday gift, with social media users debating the value and purpose of the gesture.
