The Ark Has 109,000 Seats, 126 Escalators, Says Bishop Oyedepo
The Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has disclosed details of the church’s new Ark auditorium at Canaanland, Ota, Ogun State.
Oyedepo described the massive facility as a “global amazement” and revealed that it has 109,000 seats, 20 chillers, 126 escalators and 29 elevators.
The bishop made the disclosure during the Day Five Impartation Service of the 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland.
The five-day convention held from August 18 to 22 under the theme, “Next Levels.”
Speaking in a video sighted by PUNCH Online on Tuesday, Oyedepo attributed the completion of The Ark to what he described as God’s “unlimited breakthrough power.”

According to the bishop, the auditorium contains 109,000 individual seats rather than benches. He also explained the scale of its cooling system, saying 20 chillers serve the facility’s central air-conditioning system. He noted that one chiller could reportedly serve a 5,000-bed hotel, highlighting the size of the installation at The Ark.
The facility also has 126 escalators and 29 elevators, according to the church leader.
Oyedepo further claimed that the church did not recently organise a special offering specifically to finance the project. He said funds raised through the church were being directed towards other needs, including welfare support for members facing financial difficulties.
The bishop also said the church supports at least 2,000 people through its welfare programme every week. He maintained that The Ark had no outstanding financial obligations, saying the remaining work involved finishing and installation.
“Nothing on ground will be paid tomorrow. All paid off. They are just fixing,” Oyedepo said.

The bishop used the development to encourage members about what he described as stress-free breakthroughs. He declared that believers would experience similar breakthroughs and urged them to embrace love as an important principle for spiritual growth.
“Your breakthroughs from henceforth shall be stress-free,” Oyedepo declared.
He described love as “the greatest lifter of the believer” and encouraged members to remain committed to it.
The remarks came as Living Faith Church continued activities surrounding its 2026 Annual Youth Alive Convention at Canaanland.
