Prophet Hezekiah Raises Prayer Altar for Oyo Kidnap Victims

Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji has called on Christians across Nigeria to unite in prayer as concerns grow over insecurity and reported kidnappings in parts of Oyo State. He made the call during the monthly Automatic Answer programme held at Agege Stadium in Lagos, where thousands gathered for worship and intercession.

The service became a moment of intense prayer for victims and families affected by insecurity. The prophet urged believers not to remain silent while communities continue to face fear and pain. He said the Church must respond with compassion and prayer in times like this.

“I cannot hear the cries coming from Oyo State and remain silent,” he said. The congregation responded with deep emotion and joined him in fervent prayer.

Security concerns continue to draw attention across Nigeria. Many religious leaders, community voices, and citizens have called for both action and spiritual support in response to rising fear in some regions.

Against this background, Prophet Hezekiah released a prayer message focused on Oyo State. He urged believers to stand with affected families and seek divine help for those living through uncertainty and trauma. He stressed that prayer is not just a ritual but a response of love, empathy, and faith in God during national challenges.

At the centre of his message was a strong reminder to the Church. He said believers must not look away when people are suffering. Instead, they must respond with prayer and unity. He explained that moments of crisis demand compassion and that faith leaders should not become passive observers while families grieve and communities struggle with fear.

During the service, Prophet Hezekiah prayed for children, men, and women reportedly affected by kidnapping and violence. He asked God to locate every captive and bring restoration to every broken family. He also prayed for divine protection, the frustration of evil plans, the breaking of every chain of captivity, and for mercy to speak where human effort has reached its limit.

He reminded worshippers of biblical deliverance stories, pointing to how God rescued Peter from prison and delivered Daniel from the lions’ den. According to him, these accounts show that God still intervenes in difficult situations today.

“The God who delivered Peter from prison is still alive. May divine intervention bring total deliverance to every captive,” he declared.

Beyond prayers for victims, the prophet also spoke words of hope to the nation.

He encouraged Nigerians not to lose faith despite ongoing challenges. He declared that Nigeria would not be abandoned and that families should hold on to hope. He also called on worshippers to pray together and stand in agreement for the nation.

The atmosphere in the stadium reflected unity and deep faith as worshippers joined in declaration and prayer.

Faith based responses like this often become a source of comfort for many people during national difficulties.

While prayer does not replace the role of security agencies or government action, many believers see it as a strong expression of trust in God and care for those affected.

The message from Prophet Hezekiah highlights the need for both spiritual support and human compassion. It also reflects the reality that behind every security report are real people, families, and communities facing fear and loss.

This moment of prayer also raises a broader reflection. Times of hardship often require both action and empathy. Christians are encouraged not only to pray but also to stand with those who are suffering in practical and emotional ways.

As insecurity concerns continue to affect parts of Nigeria, voices from the Church remain focused on hope, prayer, and endurance.

Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji’s message serves as a reminder of the role of intercession and compassion in difficult seasons. It also encourages believers to stay united and supportive of affected communities.
