Revival Breaks Out at Grand Canyon University
A surge of faith swept through Grand Canyon University (GCU) in Phoenix, Arizona, as thousands of students gathered for a UniteUS worship night that many described as life-changing.
According to organizers, nearly 7,000 students filled the Global Credit Union Arena to worship, hear the Gospel, and experience what they called a fresh move of God. “Hearts were surrendered and lives transformed,” UniteUS shared on social media. “If last night was any glimpse of what’s ahead, revival is here.”
UniteUS is a campus-based evangelistic ministry focused on bringing the message of Jesus Christ to students across America. The group reported that at the GCU event alone, 4,300 students recommitted their faith, 58 made new decisions for Christ, and 251 chose to be baptized. Thousands more expressed interest in joining church communities and campus ministries.

“Unite GCU wasn’t just another event it was evidence of God’s presence,” the organizers said.
The ministry, founded by Tonya Prewett, works alongside leaders such as Pastor Jonathan Pokluda and IF: Gathering founder Jennie Allen. Over the last two years, they have traveled from campus to campus, meeting students eager to deepen their faith.
Pokluda explained that many attendees arrive burdened by past mistakes but leave renewed. “They come carrying guilt and shame,” he said. “We simply point them to the one who can truly restore them Jesus Christ.”
One student, Micah Campbell, shared on Instagram that the experience changed his direction in life. “I came in lost, not knowing who I was,” he wrote. “Now I’m ready to live out Christ’s plan for me.”
Christian artist and TikTok creator Forrest Frank also appeared at the event, urging students to surrender their ambitions and reputations to God. “When you give Him everything, peace follows,” Frank told the crowd.
Prewett closed the night with a challenge: “Don’t waste your life. Give it to Jesus and go all in.”
Since launching its fall 2025 tour, UniteUS has reached over 22,000 students nationwide. Prewett said the students themselves drive the movement. “They contact us, form local teams, and take ownership,” she said. “It’s inspiring to see.”
