Bema Music Launches Gospel Talent Hunt in Nigeria
Lagos, Nigeria – Bema Music Corporation, a trailblazing faith-based record label, has unveiled Symphony of Sounds (SOS) — a nationwide gospel talent hunt created to discover and nurture Nigeria’s next generation of gospel music ministers.
Founded in 2008 by visionary entrepreneur and ministry leader Chinedum Iwuoha, Bema Music has earned a reputation for merging artistic creativity with divine purpose. The label’s newest initiative, Symphony of Sounds, reflects this core mission — transforming raw talent into impactful ministry and amplifying the message of God’s love throughout Nigeria and beyond.

In a statement released Monday, the label described SOS as “a mission-driven event with a lasting impact”, featuring multiple online and live-streamed stages. The competition will conclude with a grand finale in Lagos on May 10, 2025.
More than a typical talent competition, Symphony of Sounds aims to be a celebration of faith, community, and musical excellence. It is expected to draw participation from gospel music enthusiasts, churches, emerging artists, and industry stakeholders.
“We’re not just searching for voices — we’re searching for vessels,” said Bema Music’s founder, Chinedum Iwuoha. “Symphony of Sounds is about identifying gifted individuals who carry a true calling and supporting them as they grow into powerful ministers of the gospel. ”Winners of the competition will not only receive nationwide recognition but also benefit from six months of comprehensive, full-service artist support. This includes branding, music production, promotion, and marketing — all provided by Bema Music — to help launch their careers and prepare them to influence both the church and the broader culture. With Symphony of Sounds, Bema Music is reinforcing its role as a catalyst for faith-driven talent and reshaping the landscape of gospel music in Nigeria.
