Pastor Adeboye Donates Three Dialysis Machines to UBTH
The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has donated three complete dialysis machines to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
The donation came 48 hours after the hospital received a new ambulance from the Federal Government.
Pastor Bode Olojede presented the equipment on behalf of His Love Foundation, the RCCG’s global Christian Social Responsibility arm.
Olojede said Adeboye and his wife, Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, provided the machines to support kidney care at the hospital. He reaffirmed His Love Foundation’s commitment to addressing social challenges in Nigeria.
According to him, the foundation focuses on areas including healthcare, hunger, education, rehabilitation, prison ministry and social enterprise.

Olojede also said the RCCG leadership had supported several national intervention programmes.
He noted that some of the interventions included the construction of intensive care units to strengthen healthcare services.
The Chief Medical Director of UBTH, Prof Idia Ize-Iyamu, expressed appreciation to Adeboye for the donation. She said the equipment would provide hope for patients who require dialysis treatment. Ize-Iyamu added that the intervention would complement government efforts and investment in the healthcare sector.
The donation is expected to strengthen dialysis services at UBTH and improve access to kidney care for patients.
