Prophet Oladeji Launches Programme to Ease Hardship at Erio’26

According to The Punch, Prophet Hezekiah Oladeji of Christ Apostolic Church, Nigeria and Overseas, has announced plans for the upcoming Erio ’26 Power Explosion, describing it as a divinely mandated programme with both spiritual and social objectives.

He said the 2026 edition carries a dual focus that extends beyond worship. He explained that the event will address spiritual needs while also responding to pressing economic challenges facing families.

Oladeji made the disclosure during a media briefing on Saturday. He said the vision reflects what he described as divine instruction for practical ministry in difficult times.

He stated that the church received direction to combine spiritual outreach with humanitarian support. He added that the programme will provide relief to households struggling with economic pressure. “God has instructed us to minister to spiritual needs and also support people practically in this difficult period,” he said.

The annual programme will run from June 22 to June 28 at Ori-Oke Anu, also known as Mountain of Mercy, in Erio-Ekiti, Ekiti State. Organisers expect large crowds from across Nigeria and the diaspora.

Oladeji said the church has prepared welfare packages for vulnerable families as part of this year’s outreach. He explained that the support targets parents with newborn babies. He also noted that families with twins and triplets will receive additional assistance during the programme.

He said the initiative aims to complement faith with practical care. He added that the ministry wants to ease the burden on struggling families where possible.

The cleric also announced a transportation arrangement for attendees travelling from major cities. He said the church designed the plan to remove financial barriers that could limit participation. He confirmed that pilgrims from Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Port Harcourt will benefit from free transport services.

Oladeji added that Organisers have strengthened security and welfare measures to manage the expected turnout. He said the church prioritized safety and order throughout the event. The announcement highlights a growing trend among faith-based gatherings that combine evangelism with social support programmes, as reported by The Punch.
