Pastor Adeboye Urges Nigerians to Stay Calm as Insecurity Persists

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has encouraged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the country’s ongoing security concerns, assuring worshippers that “the church will have the final victory.”

During his sermon titled “The Master Builder” at RCCG’s monthly thanksgiving service broadcast live across the nation Adeboye said the troubling events in Nigeria serve as a reminder of God’s power to defend His people and sustain His church.

In recent times, churches and religious gatherings have faced repeated attacks, including kidnappings and fatalities. While acknowledging these painful realities, Adeboye insisted that Nigeria would pull through its current challenges.

“When God opens a door, no one can shut it,” he said. “And when He closes a door, no one can force it open. So I say to you again be at peace. The gates of hell will not triumph. The church will still rejoice in the end.”

He explained that God’s role as the “master builder” goes beyond raising church structures, emphasizing that He shapes lives, destinies, and entire futures. Adeboye reminded Christians that Christ’s promise to build His church remains unshaken.

He urged citizens not to allow fear or uncertainty to take over, reassuring them that God’s protection remains firm. “It is God who is constructing the future,” he said. “And nothing can overturn what God Himself is building.”

Adeboye rounded off by encouraging Nigerians to hold on to faith as the nation works toward peace and stability once again.
