Talented Nigerian gospel singer, Daniel Ayodele Agbaje also known by his fans as Ayo Agbaje who shot into the limelight with exclusive songs has disclosed why he left secular music to the industry of gospel music.

Ayo Agbaje stated that in past years he found out that he was chasing after the wrong things in life doing secular music for 10 years.

He said; ’10 years ago I felt I should do music for money, I backslide by wanting to do music with the world and it just didn’t work for me because it was not my path and destination but thank God I was able to discover myself’

After several years of hard work and consistency, Ayo has inspired young people and up-and-coming artists through his undiluted preaching and awesome style of music which has distinguished him from other gospel artists’ style of music.

Tracing his records back, Ayo Agbaje noted that he has been in a choir for many years judging from his background and finding his way tilting towards the choir, which has helped him in the building he is doing.

Daniel Ayo has grown in leaps and bounds through enriching lives with the gospel of God via his spiritual music. It is important to note that some of his songs including Emi Mimo (Holy Spirit) and Sogibuchi (Only You Are God) are currently making waves and topping gospel music charts.

He revealed that the inspirations for his songs were gotten while asleep and positive happenings around him motivate him as well. He however cited that he is not motivated by money or anything else anymore other than the love and passion he has for God and his service in the kingdom of God.
