C&S Cleric In ‘Tongue Anointing’ Video Begs For Forgiveness

C&S cleric in viral tongue anointing video has come out to apologise for his unorthodox acts in the viral video. Alfred Oluwasegun Okikiola Ogunnusi, popularly known as Baba Aladura LAHOJAH, has issued an apology following backlash over a viral video showing him sticking his tongue into the mouth of a younger cleric during an anointing ritual. The act, which stirred widespread condemnation, led to the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria publicly disowning him earlier this week.

In response to the controversy, the cleric released a brief apology video in which he expressed regret to the general public and the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria. However, he maintained that his actions were not intentional but rather a result of being “directed by the spirit.” While acknowledging the outrage his conduct had caused, he pleaded for forgiveness from those who were offended.

Despite his apology, the incident has raised concerns within the Christian community about the limits of spiritual guidance and the potential for misinterpretation of religious practices. The C&S Unification Church has firmly dismissed his actions as unbiblical and unrelated to the doctrines of the church, further distancing itself from the controversial cleric.
