[4]. Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!
[5]. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
[6]. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
[7]. and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
EXPOSITION
We live in times where anxiety is widespread. Everyone seems worried about one thing or another — rising costs, limited income and uncertain futures. However, is God unaware of our struggles? Is He no longer able to care for us? Certainly not! (Amos 3:6)
David’s words offer reassurance: _I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread_ (Psa. 37:25). Similarly, Psalm 34:10 says, _The young lions lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord shall not fack any good thing._ God’s provision is boundless, as affirmed in scriptures like Haggai 2:8 and Matthew 6:25-32.

PREVIOUS DEVOTIONAL

If God knows our needs and owns all resources, why should we be anxious? Instead, let us rejoice in Him, knowing He has our best interests at heart (Rom. 8:28). Present all your needs to God in prayer. Prayer is an act of placing our weaknesses into God’s strong hands. You cannot be both prayerful and anxious. Therefore, let go of worry, start praying and give thanks to God for whatever outcome He provides.
