Pastor Adeboye, wife celebrate 59th anniversary

General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has marked his 59th wedding anniversary with his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye.

Adeboye shared the anniversary message on his X account on Tuesday. He thanked God for sustaining their marriage through nearly six decades.

The cleric described their journey as one filled with joy, challenges, growth and answered prayers. He also said the years had given them countless reasons to remain grateful to God.

According to Adeboye, marriage goes beyond happy moments. He said couples must choose each other every day and allow room for growth.

He also highlighted patience, forgiveness, prayer and trust in God as important parts of a lasting marriage.

“Above all, we are grateful that God has been at the centre of our home. Every step of the way, He has remained faithful,” Adeboye said.

He thanked family members, friends and others who had supported, loved and prayed for the couple over the years.

Adeboye said he and his wife remained grateful for their journey and looked forward to what the future holds.

“To God be all the glory,” he said.
