Your Relationship With God Can Shape Your Destiny-Pastor Paul Enenche

Nigerian preacher and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre Worldwide, Dr Paul Enenche, has said a person’s relationship with God can shape the course of their life.

Enenche made the statement during a sermon titled “Wisdom for the Blessing,” where he used the biblical story of Abraham to explain what he believes separates people from their peers.

According to the pastor, Abraham’s close relationship with God was the key factor that distinguished him. “What was it that differentiated Abraham? It was his relationship with God,” Enenche said.

He urged Christians to look beyond education, family background and social connections when considering the factors that can shape their lives.

Enenche said a strong relationship with God can set a person apart from classmates, colleagues and even members of the same family.

The pastor also shared an example involving parents who, according to research he cited, had children before becoming Christians. He said the couple later had another set of children after their conversion.

Enenche claimed that researchers observed differences between the two groups of children. He attributed the differences to the contrasting environments in which they grew up.

He used the example to stress what he described as the influence of a person’s spiritual environment on their development. “Your relationship with God,” Enenche repeatedly told the congregation.

He urged believers to make their faith central to their decisions and ambitions rather than pursuing success independently of God.

The Dunamis pastor also warned Christians against seeking achievements through means they believe are outside God’s will. “Anything God cannot give you, you don’t need. Don’t look for any result outside of God,” he said.

Enenche’s message focused on the importance of maintaining a strong relationship with God while pursuing personal growth, success and other life goals.
