Apostle Aghasedo Says Sex Toys in Marriage Are Not a Sin
Apostle Joshua Aghasedo of Powerline Church has said married couples can use sex toys as part of their intimate life.
The cleric shared the position while addressing his congregation in a video posted on the church’s YouTube channel on Tuesday.
Aghasedo described the devices as modern tools that may assist couples with intimacy. He compared them with other forms of technology and equipment used in everyday life.
The pastor stressed that his comments apply only within marriage.
According to him, he once advised a married couple to consider using a sex toy after assessing their particular circumstances.

Aghasedo said the purpose should be to support intimacy between spouses rather than encourage sexual activity outside marriage.
The cleric also drew a distinction between use by married couples and individual use. He said his religious interpretation views the latter differently.
His comments come amid wider discussions about intimacy and marriage among Christians in Nigeria.
Views among religious leaders remain divided. Some consider the use of sex toys inappropriate, while others assess the practice based on marital context and individual circumstances.
Aghasedo’s position focuses on keeping such matters within marriage and aligning marital intimacy with religious values.
