Pray for Tinubu on Insecurity-Pastor F. Akinfenwa Calls Nigerians

According to nannews.ng, Pastor Femi Akinfenwa has urged Nigerians to continue praying for the administration of President Bola Tinubu as the country faces rising insecurity and economic challenges.

The cleric made the call during the second anniversary and Founder’s Day celebration of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Rehoboth Chapel of Glory, held in Dakibiyu District, Lugbe, Abuja.

Speaking at the event, Akinfenwa said peace and security remain important to Nigeria’s economic recovery. According to him, citizens cannot fully engage in business or farming when fear and violence continue to spread across.

He explained that many farmers are unable to return to their farms because of attacks linked to banditry. As a result, he urged the Federal Government to intensify efforts aimed at restoring safety across the nation.

The cleric also encouraged Christians to participate in elections and other civic responsibilities instead of remaining silent during national discussions. He said believers should pray for leaders while still exercising their right to vote for candidates of their choice.

Akinfenwa stressed that Nigeria belongs to all citizens and called for unity among Nigerians despite political differences. He added that leadership in a country as large as Nigeria comes with enormous responsibility, yet more must still be done to improve security and the economy.

During his remarks, the church leader expressed gratitude for the growth of the ministry over the last two years. He recalled the humble beginning of the church and said he believes the ministry will continue to expand and impact lives in the years ahead.

He further advised fathers and family leaders to stay committed to their faith and avoid distractions that could weaken their spiritual lives.

The anniversary sermon was delivered by Senior Apostle Omotosho Iyanuoluwa, who spoke on the theme, “Two Years of Grace: The Journey Continues.”

In his message, Iyanuoluwa said any ministry built on the foundation of Christ would continue to grow despite challenges. He described grace as God’s free and undeserved favor toward humanity.

The preacher also stated that church growth does not depend on the number of prophets or human effort alone. Instead, he said true progress comes through salvation, unity, prayer, and genuine love among members.

He encouraged members of the congregation to remain united, prayerful, hardworking, and committed to the mission of the church.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Remilekun Akinfenwa thanked God for sustaining the ministry since its establishment. She expressed hope that the coming year would bring greater wisdom, stronger unity, spiritual growth, and increased service to humanity.

The celebration brought together church members, guests, and ministers who joined in prayers for the church and the nation.
