Tonto Dikeh Shares Salvation Story at Pastor Jerry Eze’s Service.
Popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has shared an emotional and deeply personal testimony during a church service led by Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD).
Speaking before the congregation, Dikeh said her testimony began with gratitude for what she described as the salvation of her soul. She recounted a long journey marked by addictions, pain, and spiritual struggles, which she said God has now completely broken.
According to her, she was introduced to smoking at the age of 13, influenced by her father, who was also a smoker. What followed, she said, was a 27-year struggle with nicotine addiction. She testified that the urge to smoke has now disappeared entirely.
Dikeh also revealed that she battled alcoholism for years, explaining that she would consume large bottles of vodka until she passed out. Today, she said, that addiction no longer controls her life, adding that she no longer drinks alcohol.

In an equally candid moment, the actress spoke about being delivered from masturbation and chronic back pain that had troubled her for over two decades. She said the pain suddenly stopped and that she has been pain-free ever since.
Reflecting on her spiritual past, Dikeh admitted that she had sought help from altars and spiritual paths she now believes God never intended for her. She said she now understands her identity in Christ and is certain of who she belongs to.
She also testified about experiencing repeated sexual encounters in her dreams, which she described as a spiritual bondage. According to her, after attending a recent NSPPD conference in Ghana, those experiences stopped completely and have not returned.
Dikeh told the congregation that since publicly identifying as an NSPPDIAN, she has noticed unusual favor, with people blessing her unexpectedly. She described herself as a prodigal child who has returned home and declared that she has no intention of going back to her former life.
She confirmed that she has enrolled in discipleship classes and is embracing accountability, saying she is no longer hiding anything. She added that the Holy Spirit continues to minister to her, describing her as a voice for her generation.
At her request, Pastor Jerry prayed for her, laying hands on her as the church joined in prayer. He declared that the “body of sin” had been broken and affirmed that she would be a strong voice in her generation.
The testimony sparked widespread reactions online, with many viewers describing it as a reminder that transformation is possible, regardless of one’s past.
