The Faith Will Keep Standing – Bishop Abioye Declare

Bishop David Abioye has spoken strongly against those denying the ongoing attacks on Christians in Nigeria. During a prayer session, he described such denial as wicked and insensitive to the pain of believers, especially those in Plateau and Benue States.

He called on Christians across the country to remain firm in their faith and continue praying for their brothers and sisters in the Middle Belt and the North East. According to him, “information with facts can never be thwarted.”

The bishop said it is heartbreaking to see hundreds of Christians buried after repeated attacks, yet some still claim there is no genocide. He described such claims as false and an attempt to silence the truth and weaken the Church.

Bishop Abioye also warned that the violence is slowly spreading to other regions, including the South West and South East. He criticized leaders who deny the killings for personal reasons, saying they are selling out their faith.

Quoting Jesus’ words, he said, “When I come, will I find faith on the earth?” He assured that believers will keep the faith no matter what happens.

He ended the session with a heartfelt prayer. “Father, strengthen our brothers and sisters,” he prayed. “Strengthen the faith of believers in the Middle Belt and the North East. Every force fighting the faith of Jesus is defeated. The faith will not be abolished.”
