Teens Arrested Over Brad Pitt Home Burglary Linked to Other Celebrity Break-Ins
Los Angeles police say four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a burglary at Brad Pitt’s Los Feliz home. Authorities believe the suspects are behind a string of high-profile break-ins targeting celebrities and professional athletes across the city.
According to LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell, the suspects two 18-year-olds, a 17-year-old, and a 16-year-old are members of a street gang. Police say stolen items from several burglaries were recovered during searches of their homes.
The investigation began in late June when masked intruders breached a perimeter fence at Pitt’s property, smashed a window, and took valuables before escaping. The actor, who bought the three-bedroom home in 2023, was away promoting his new film F1.

While police did not officially confirm the address belonged to Pitt, property records matched it to his recent purchase. The house, located near Griffith Park and shielded by greenery, is known for its privacy.
Authorities have not named other victims, but recent burglary reports in Los Angeles include the homes of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, Dodgers pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto, and former LAFC striker Olivier Giroud.
McDonnell said the teenage crew used sophisticated methods to plan their crimes. Some installed hidden cameras in flowerbeds or across the street to monitor victims’ movements. Others employed Wi-Fi jammers to disable home security systems.
He warned that celebrities and even ordinary resident and become easy targets if they post their travel plans online. “We often don’t think about the fact that while we want our friends to know where we are, we’re also telling strangers who might be looking to exploit the situation,” McDonnell said.
The four suspects were arrested last week after police surveillance linked them to multiple burglaries. Investigations into the full scope of their alleged crimes are ongoing.
