Human Skull Discovered At Enugu Church Site Connected To Prophet Ezedike
Tension is escalating across the Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State following the discovery of a human skull at a building under construction, alleged to be linked to Prophet Chinedu Solomon Ezedike. The disturbing discovery was made during a security operation over the weekend at Abile Hill, Isi- Agu, Ibagwa- Aka. According to sources within the community, the search operation was based on intelligence that the location was being used for activities outside the law.
Officers, allegedly under the direction of the Divisional Police Officer for the area, discovered the skull and a ritual staff inside what residents say is a “temple” connected to Ezedike rather than a typical church during the operation. This discovery has intensified concerns in the area, especially as the prophet’s name has previously surfaced in connection with the mysterious disappearance of four siblings. The community’s unease is further deepened by the fact that the original structure where the siblings were allegedly found had already been torn down by government authorities.
Enugu Residents Demand Clarity and Action As Investigations Continue
A local figure, identified as Ukwueze, stated that the search was part of ongoing efforts to trace criminal hideouts and emphasised that the findings give more weight to longstanding community suspicions. He reiterated that Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s administration remains firm in its vows to dismantle any network that enables such horrifying events to occur.
While the disturbing evidence has been handed over to the police for further investigation, there has yet to be an official statement from the Enugu State Police Command. Police spokesperson Daniel Ndukwe reportedly claimed he had not been informed about the operation, adding another layer of uncertainty for the community. In the wake of the incident, residents are expressing frustration over the silence from authorities and calling for immediate transparency and justice to prevent the recurrence of such tragic events.
Amid these developments, public calls for stronger surveillance, improved communication from law enforcement, and a thorough probe into the activities of the church and its alleged spiritual leader continue to grow louder. For now, Enugu remains on edge, watching closely as investigations unfold.
