Hallelujah Challenge Breaks One Million Views Again

The 2025 Hallelujah Challenge has once again drawn massive global attention, surpassing one million online views during its fifteenth day.

Led by gospel minister Nathaniel Bassey, the midnight praise session recorded over 1.2 million combined views across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, according to recent data obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Now in its October edition, the Challenge continues to unite worshippers across continents in one voice of praise and prayer.

What began in 2017 as a spontaneous Instagram Live session from Bassey’s living room has grown into one of the world’s largest online Christian movements. The Hallelujah Challenge has since become a digital altar of worship, inspiring testimonies of healing, deliverance, and breakthrough.

Bassey described the growing participation as evidence of divine intervention rather than human strategy.
“What started as an act of obedience has become a move of God. Each night, we witness His power beyond borders and denominations,” he said.

The event, which begins nightly at 11:59 p.m., features intense praise, worship, and intercession. It often concludes with the ‘Hallelujah Festival,’ a physical gathering that attracts thousands of believers for live worship and testimonies.

Media outlets in Nigeria and abroad have hailed the Challenge as one of the most engaging digital faith movements of the decade. Its consistent rise in viewership reflects how technology has transformed global worship.

Reflecting on the purpose of the event, Bassey said its focus remains on heartfelt worship and unity among believers.
“The Hallelujah Challenge is more than an event; it’s a movement. When people gather in one spirit to exalt God, miracles happen. And we’re only getting started,” he added.

Since its debut, the Challenge has grown from tens of thousands of participants to millions worldwide. Countless testimonies of healing and answered prayers continue to flood social media platforms.

As the October edition progresses, momentum keeps building. Bassey urged participants to stay consistent in faith and praise.
“In a world filled with uncertainty, our praise declares that God still reigns and still answers prayers,” he said.

The Hallelujah Challenge remains a symbol of hope and revival, proving once again that worship knows no boundaries.
