  GMO Marks 20 Years, 3 Billion Gospel Encounters

Global Media Outreach (GMO) is celebrating two decades of remarkable impact in digital evangelism. Since its founding in 2004, the ministry has created more than 3 billion online moments with Jesus, connecting people around the world to the hope and truth of the Gospel through technology.

This milestone highlights an incredible journey of faith and innovation, with every number representing a real person whose life has been transformed by the message of Christ. Over the past 20 years, GMO’s online efforts have resulted in more than 325 million decisions for Jesus enough to circle the Earth more than twelve times if each new believer stood hand in hand.

“This isn’t about statistics,” said Jamie Radtke, President and CEO of GMO. “It’s about individuals like Maria in Brazil who found hope, David in Kenya who discovered purpose, and Sarah in India who experienced God’s love for the first time. Each story reminds us of the power of the Gospel.”

GMO credits this achievement to its global family of Online Missionaries, donors, prayer supporters, and ministry partners who have faithfully shared the message of salvation. Every prayer, donation, and act of service has contributed to this global movement of faith.

Looking ahead, GMO’s 5-Star Strategy aims to reach 5 billion people by 2033, leveraging digital innovation to continue spreading the Gospel in an increasingly connected world.

To commemorate the milestone, GMO is hosting a month-long celebration throughout June, culminating in a live online event on June 26. The celebration will highlight powerful testimonies, ministry updates, and the vision for the next decade of digital evangelism.
