Don’t Let Sentiment Keep You Stagnant – A Lesson from Apostle Femi Lazarus

This powerful statement carries a timeless truth about growth, destiny, and the courage to move forward. Too often, people remain trapped in the same position in life because of fear, comfort zones, or emotional attachments. Sentiment can make us hold onto situations, relationships, or habits that no longer serve our future.

The mentality you met on the ground will also try to control your life. It will attempt to dictate your choices, even to the point of deciding who you marry. But you must learn to fight. You cannot break negative patterns until you rise up, confront them, and declare: “I will not make your choices.” As you grow older, you may discover that those familiar patterns are the easiest paths to follow.
