Celebration Is a Must, and God Supports It: ADS High School Ejigbo Alumni Mark 50th Anniversary in Grand Style.

     Ejigbo, Osun State, The atmosphere was electric, hearts were full, and memories came rushing back as Alumni of ADS High School Ejigbo gathered to celebrate the school’s 50th anniversary. The theme for the day, “Celebration is a must, and God supports it,” set the tone for what became an unforgettable golden jubilee of joy, gratitude, and nostalgia.

     From the earliest sets who first walked the school’s corridors in the 1970s and 80s, to the younger graduates of the 2000s, alumni turned out in vibrant numbers. What stole the show was the emotional sight of some of the pioneer sets proudly wearing the school uniform once again, a gesture that transported everyone back to their teenage years.

     Accomplished men and women, now professionals, leaders, and parents, wore their alma mater’s colors with pride. It was more than symbolism; it was a testimony to the bond that fifty years could not break.

     The celebration was filled with warm reunions, teachers being honored with heartfelt ovations, and endless retelling of classroom stories that sparked laughter and tears. In the spirit of giving back, the alumni unveiled legacy projects that spoke volumes of their gratitude: classroom renovations, donation of books and ICT equipment, as well as scholarships to uplift promising students.

     The day also featured a thanksgiving service, inspiring lectures, and cultural performances that highlighted Ejigbo’s rich heritage. In every segment, the theme of the celebration echoed,  celebrating is not optional, it is God-ordained, a way of acknowledging His goodness over five decades of the school’s existence.

     The grand finale came at the gala night,  a colorful blend of music, dance, and tributes that captured the heartbeat of ADS High School Ejigbo: unity, excellence, and family.

     As the curtain fell, one thing was clear: this was more than just a reunion. It was a divine affirmation that celebration is indeed a must, and with God’s support, ADS High School Ejigbo’s legacy will keep shining for generations yet to come.
