CAC President Expresses Gratitude After Safe Release of Abducted Worshippers

The President of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele, has expressed deep gratitude to God following the safe release of members abducted by armed bandits during a church service at CAC Oke Isegun, Erùkú Zonal Headquarters in Kwara State on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.

In a statement signed by the Church’s Publicity Director, Pastor Ademisoye Alawode, the CAC President thanked the Almighty for preserving the lives of the abducted worshippers and ensuring their safe return.

Appreciation to Government and Security Agencies

Pastor Oladele extended heartfelt appreciation to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), and the Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (CON), for their swift intervention.

He also commended the Inspector General of Police, the Kwara State Commissioner of Police, and all security agencies for responding promptly and professionally, leading to the successful rescue operation.

Gratitude to Christian Bodies and Supporters

The CAC President acknowledged the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the Christian Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (CPFN), the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), and several church leaders, organisations, and individuals who prayed, visited, called, and stood in solidarity with the Church throughout the ordeal.

He also appreciated members of the CAC both in Nigeria and abroad for their unwavering faith, unity in prayer, and continued support for the church leadership during this challenging time.

Prayer for Other Victims Nationwide

Pastor Oladele concluded the statement with a heartfelt prayer for the safe release of other abducted persons in Kebbi, Niger, and various states across the country, urging Nigerians to remain hopeful and steadfast in prayer.
