CAC Holds Centenary Building Foundation Laying Ceremony at Ikeji Arakeji

On June 6, 2025, the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) marked a historic event with the foundation laying of the Centenary Building at its sacred Ikeji Arakeji Camp. More than a ceremonial construction, this moment symbolizes 100 years of revival, spiritual continuity, and a renewed commitment to apostolic faith and purpose.

What Makes This Ceremony Historic?

This event continues the centenary legacy initiated in 2018 and reaffirms the vision birthed from the 1918 revival fire. It’s not just a building—it’s a prophetic signal that CAC is preparing for the next 100 years of spiritual impact.

The foundation laying was officiated by Pastor Samuel O. Oladele, President of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, who originally served as General Superintendent during the 2018 centenary celebrations.

“This is a generational legacy, birthed in prayer and anchored in purpose.”
Pastor S. O. Oladele

Present at the event were CAC’s senior executives:

  • General Superintendent
  • Prophet hezekiah. O. oladeji (General Evangelist)
  • General Secretary
  • Director of Missions
  • Director of Finance
  • Planning Committee Chairman
  • International dignitaries and revival partners

The CAC Centenary Building is a multi-purpose building that will be used for religious, administrative, and historical purposes. There will be modern auditoriums and revival halls that can hold thousands of people for national and international events, as well as conference rooms and hospitality suites for church leaders, visiting missionaries, and ministry forums. It will also have offices for the church’s administration and historical archives that are dedicated to the church’s operations and keeping important records of the CAC’s 100-year history.

Who Made This Possible?

The building vision was executed by The Planning Committee, chaired by Professor Adegbulugbe, who emphasized the spiritual nature of this development:

“This is not just a building; it is a prophetic monument.”

Multiple planning and implementation teams worked tirelessly behind the scenes to see this day realized.

Voices from the Ground

Attendees expressed immense joy and spiritual connection to the event:

“We have witnessed history. This is a torch being passed to future generations.”

The unity displayed across youth, ministers, and visitors revealed the deep cultural and spiritual resonance of the project. The 1918 revival fire that birthed CAC continues to burn through this architectural monument. The Centenary Building reflects Spiritual continuity, Apostolic preservation, and Prayer-driven growth. It is a testament that CAC is not only building on faith—but building with foresight.

The laying of the CAC Centenary Building’s foundation represents more than bricks—it symbolizes prayer, purpose, and prophetic preparation. It is a legacy of faith, a monument of mission, and a flame carried forward.
