After 41 Years of Marriage and 13 Years of Pregnancy, Pastor and Wife Welcome Twin Boys — “The Miracle of the Millennium”
It was pure joy and disbelief in Lagos as Pastor and Evangelist Mrs. Dele Ajibola of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Purity and Power Zone welcomed twin baby boys after 41 years of marriage and what many describe as a miraculous 13-year pregnancy.
The celebration, tagged “The Miracle of the Millennium,” drew family, friends, and church leaders who gathered to witness what they called living proof that “what God cannot do does not exist.”
At the naming ceremony, the Superintendent of CAC Pearce Region, Pastor S.O. Aluko, led the dedication, calling the couple “the Zechariah and Elizabeth of our time.” He likened the moment to the biblical story of John the Baptist’s naming, saying it was a miracle meant for the world to see.
The twins were named Taiwo Ayoigbala Signs Purity and Kehinde Onaara Oluwapamilerin Power. The names symbolizing the church’s Purity and Power Zone.
Preaching from Psalm 136, Pastor Tope Dada, Director of Administration, CAC Nigeria and Overseas, described the birth as “a miracle of the millennium.” He said, “If the Bible were still being written, this testimony would be in it. God did it for Zechariah and Elizabeth; now He has done it again for Pastor and Mrs. Ajibola.”

With humor, he added, “The woman who had entered menopause was restarted by God. It’s called menopause, not menostop!”
Pastor Dada urged the couple to raise the twins in God’s ways, commending Pastor Ajibola’s long-standing faith and service since his days as a student leader in the CAC Students’ Fellowship in 1975. He told the congregation, “Never give up on God. There is nothing impossible for Him to do.”
In a tearful testimony, Pastor Ajibola reflected on their 41-year wait. “I once told my wife, ‘I didn’t accept Jesus so He could give me children, but so I can make heaven.’ Yet, in His mercy, He chose to surprise us,” he said.
Evangelist Mrs. Ajibola shared her own journey of faith through a 13-year pregnancy that defied medical explanation. “There were times scans showed a baby, and the next time, there was nothing,” she said. “I was mocked as a midwife who could not bear a child. I once asked God to give me another ministry, but He said, ‘Be patient.’ I never knew it would take decades. Today, I am a joyful mother of twins.”
The event was attended by top CAC leaders, including Pastor and Mrs. S.O. Aluko; Pastor and Mrs. Tope Dada; Pastor S.E.A. Oludare of CAC Yaba DCC; and Pastor and Mrs. D.O. Ogungbenjo of CAC Odi-Olowo DCC, among others.
The atmosphere overflowed with songs of praise, tears of joy, and testimonies of faith. For many, the birth of the Ajibola twins is more than a miracle it is a reminder that faith, no matter how long it waits, never fails.
