Pastor Poju Oyemade Gifts Bishop Wale Oke New Car at 70th
Pastor Poju Oyemade has presented Archbishop Francis Wale Oke with a brand-new car to mark the Christian leader’s 70th birthday.
Oyemade made the presentation during Wale Oke’s 70th birthday celebration in Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.
He presented the vehicle on behalf of young ministers across Nigeria. The gesture recognised Wale Oke’s decades of Christian service and leadership.
The car gift formed part of events held to celebrate the milestone. The gathering attracted Christian leaders, ministers, family members and friends of the archbishop.
Reports from the celebration said the presentation was an expression of appreciation for Wale Oke’s contribution to Christian ministry in Nigeria.
Church Gist also reported the presentation, identifying Oyemade as the minister who handed over the new car on behalf of young ministers in the country.

Oyemade has previously spoken about his long relationship with Wale Oke. In a birthday tribute, he recalled encountering Wale Oke’s ministry in 1987.
He also remembered seeking Wale Oke’s counsel while leading a campus fellowship at the University of Lagos.
Oyemade described Wale Oke as a servant-hearted minister who has played a significant role in the growth of Pentecostal and charismatic Christianity in Nigeria.
The celebration brought together Christian leaders, ministers, family members and friends to honour Oke’s 70 years of life and decades of service to the Christian faith.
