Pastor Samuel Oladele at CAC Missions Conference: “Only the Light of the Gospel Can Save Humanity”
At the ongoing Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Missions Conference, the President of the Church, Pastor Samuel Olusegun Oladele, delivered a stirring message on the urgent need for the Church to awaken from slumber and return to the foundation of the Gospel.
According to him, there are only two camps in the world the camp of God’s marvelous light and the camp of darkness. Every individual must choose where to belong.
He lamented that many Christians today are asleep, spiritually distracted by the things of the world. “We are slumbering, we are sleeping, we are snoring,” he declared, warning that worldly pursuits will eventually fade away.

Quoting the words of Jesus, Pastor Oladele reminded believers: “Look up, the harvest is ripe.” He urged Christians not to fix their gaze on material things but to focus on the eternal call of the Gospel.
The CAC President emphasized that the secret of the Church remains the same as that of the Early Church the power of the Holy Spirit. While education and knowledge are important, he stressed that they cannot replace the saving power of the Gospel.
“As good as education is, we cannot depend on the power of education alone to bring people to Christ,” he said.
Pastor Oladele further noted that no other light can reach the deepest needs of humanity apart from the light of the Gospel of Christ. He called on the Church to return to the mission mandate, relying fully on the Spirit of God for revival and global impact.
The message served as a wake-up call to believers to rise above worldly distractions and embrace their role as bearers of the marvelous light in a dark world.
