GOFAMINT 59th Annual Convention 2025: “You Shall Be a Blessing”
The 59th Annual Convention of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT) is in full swing at the International Gospel City along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway, Ogunmakin, Ibadan. With the powerful theme “YOU SHALL BE A BLESSING,” this holy convocation, which started on Monday, August 4, 2025, has been a spiritual journey into God’s abundance, grace, and destiny.
Led by the General Overseer, Pastor (Dr.) E.O. Abina, and other anointed ministers of God, this year’s gathering is marked by deep teachings, impactful prayers, soul-lifting worship, and testimonies of supernatural encounters.
Convention Highlights
Opening Day – A Call to Overflowing Blessings
The welcome service began with intercession by Pastor ‘Deji Ayeni and Bible reading from Psalms 99 and 100. During the opening declaration, Pastor E.O. Abina referenced Genesis 12:2 and Exodus 13:1, declaring that 2025 would be a year of “no more lack but abundant blessings.”
The opening message by Pastor Dr. Femi Odeyemi titled “The Latter Rain of Blessings” explored how divine rain in Scripture symbolizes God’s presence, provision, and restoration. Citing Joel 2:23–28, he emphasized the need for spiritual rejuvenation, physical restoration, proper positioning, and visible results of divine rain. The message ended with an altar call, followed by prayers led by Pastor John Akinduyi.
Day 2 – The Power of Obedience and the Call of Abraham
The morning session began with Pastor Sunday Adu, Assistant General Overseer of Foreign Missions, teaching on the phases of divine blessing. Drawing from Genesis 22:16-18 and Hebrews 11:17, he explained that obedience is the key to accessing all-round blessings.

He described three key spiritual phases:
Preparation – where God equips you for future challenges
Testing – where faith is refined through trials
Reward – when obedience leads to divine release
Later, Pastor Abina taught on “The Call of Abraham,” highlighting how every call from God demands separation from the world, obedience, and faith. Those who respond rightly to God’s call become heirs of Abraham’s blessings through Christ (Galatians 3:29).

Youth Variety Night – A Moment to Remember
A major highlight of the convention came during the Youth Variety Night, when a teenage girl recited the entire Psalm 119 flawlessly. The auditorium erupted in celebration as she was immediately awarded a scholarship for her education. This powerful moment didn’t just showcase talent but exemplified the very theme of the convention being a blessing and receiving blessings in return.
Day 4 – Divine Guidance and the Blessings of Abraham’s Children
Pastor S.O. Omowumi, the General Secretary, opened the day with a teaching on “Unveiling the Mystery of Divine Guidance,” referencing Isaiah 48:17. He explained how God leads His people step-by-step to profit and fulfillment, using Abraham’s journey as a model of obedience and trust.

The session also featured the launch of a new book written by GOFAMINT’s founder, Late Pastor Reuben Akinwalere George, coordinated by Pastor Sunday Adu.
Later, Pastor Abina returned with a deep teaching on “The Spiritual Blessings of Abraham’s Children” taken from Ephesians 1:3, Galatians 3:14, and 1 Chronicles 4:9–10. He explained that Abraham’s blessings flow in two dimensions physical and spiritual and believers are joint heirs through Christ.
In the evening, Evangelist (Dr.) E.O. Falade ministered powerfully during the “Night of Wonders.” Drawing from Acts 5:12–16, he preached on “Celebrating the God of Wonders.” The session was marked by instant testimonies, healing, and supernatural breakthroughs.
Join the Blessing Train
As the convention continues through August 10, the call is loud and clear:
“Dear Brethren, the train to Blessing Destination is already moving. Seats are filling fast, and your spot is waiting. Come, let’s ride together to where blessings overflow.”
This is not just a religious event it’s a divine encounter with destiny. The word is flowing. The Spirit is moving. The testimonies are multiplying. And truly, you shall be a blessing.
