World’s Highest IQ Holder Declares Jesus Christ Is God

YoungHoon Kim, officially recognised as the man with the highest IQ in the world, has publicly declared his belief in Jesus Christ as God.

In a statement posted on Tuesday via his verified X (formerly Twitter) account, Kim wrote, “I believe that Jesus Christ is God, the way and the truth and the life.”

Kim, whose IQ is recorded at 276, said he intends to use his platform to lead others to faith. “Christ is my logic,” he added, in response to reactions from followers online.

He also emphasised that faith and science are not in conflict. In a video shared earlier this year, Kim explained his view that consciousness may persist after death. According to him, while traditional science links consciousness to brain activity, quantum physics suggests that information never disappears—it only changes form.

Kim compared human consciousness to data stored in the cloud, suggesting it may exist beyond the brain. He cited quantum entanglement to support the idea that consciousness is part of a larger, non-physical system.

“If reality is part of something bigger, then death is not the end but a transition,” Kim stated. He also said that belief in the afterlife is consistent with scientific reasoning.

The 2024 IQ record holder earned a degree in Christian Theology from Yonsei University in South Korea. He described theology as “the ultimate discipline of all fields of study”.

Kim is the founder of the United Sigma Intelligence Association, a global think tank aimed at gathering the world’s brightest minds.

He maintains that growing scientific understanding is pointing humanity closer to the truth about life, death, and consciousness. “Our death is not destruction, but change and shift,” he wrote. “Humanity will keep searching for the truth.”
