10 Things to Avoid When Traveling to the CAC Pastors’ Conference 2025
The CAC Pastors’ Conference 2025 at Ikeji-Arakeji is fast approaching, and thousands of pastors, ministers, and church leaders are preparing to travel down for this historic gathering. As we look forward to this time of impartation and renewal under the theme “Preparing God’s People for Leadership”, it is important to journey wisely and safely.
While we pray for God’s protection and guidance, wisdom is also required on our part. Here are 10 things to avoid when traveling down to Ikeji-Arakeji for the conference:
1. Overpacking
Carrying too many bags can make your trip stressful and slow you down. Travel light and take only what you truly need.
2. Ignoring Weather Updates
Don’t assume the weather will remain the same throughout your journey. Always check weather conditions, especially if you’re traveling by road or air.
3. Traveling With Low Fuel or Battery
Running low on fuel or not charging your phone fully before traveling can put you at risk. Make sure your devices and vehicle are ready.
4. Reckless Driving
Avoid over-speeding or dangerous driving. A journey to God’s presence should be peaceful, not rushed. Remember, better late than never.
5. Traveling Without Rest
Do not drive long hours without resting. Fatigue is one of the biggest causes of road accidents. Take breaks when necessary.
6. Keeping Cash Carelessly
Avoid displaying large sums of money or keeping valuables in unsafe places. Travel with wisdom and discretion.
7. Ignoring Vehicle Maintenance
Neglecting to service your car or bus before the trip is risky. Check your tires, brakes, and engine to avoid unnecessary breakdowns.
8. Distracted Driving
Don’t text or make unnecessary phone calls while driving. Your full attention should be on the road.
9. Traveling Without Prayer
While preparation is important, don’t forget to commit your journey into God’s hands. Begin your trip with prayer and thanksgiving.
10. Last-Minute Departure
Avoid rushing. Leaving late can cause unnecessary anxiety and lead to mistakes. Plan to leave early so you can arrive refreshed.
“The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalm 121:8
As you travel to Ikeji-Arakeji for the CAC Pastors’ Conference 2025, may the Lord grant you journey mercies, smooth roads, and divine covering. We can’t wait to see what God will do in this year’s conference.
Safe travels, and see you at Ikeji!
